Price calculation
For air freight and sea freight (FCL, LCL/CONSOL), the insurance fee is 2% of the declared value + $20 USD administration fee. This applies to any destination.
There is a 3% deductible on the amount claimed, with a minimum of 150 USD.
However, these figures are indicative. Only an approved and signed insurance contract would fully define all the conditions.
This insurance is proposed in partnership with Great Eastern General (check their website here).
An insurance policy only covers your goods during transport.
The duration of the guarantee granted is limited in time: it starts at the moment when the cargo is loaded by the transport company and ceases upon delivery of the goods to the consignee.
Due to the short duration of this coverage and the various legal agreements related to the transport sector, the declaration in case of damage must comply with a specific procedure.
